Fiona Kissel has been with Office Management Solutions since 2006 and spends most of her time out and about in the Alexandra area working with her clients in their offices. The work varies from doing day to day or monthly accounts processing, problem solving, to payroll, to installing software and training clients on using their accounting & payroll software. It is the variety of work and clients that gives Fiona enjoyment in her occupation.
Fiona started work in Christchurch for the government as a Survey Draughtperson. In 1995, Fiona moved from Christchurch to Central Otago with her husband, Bruce for a change away from the city. They thought it would be just for a couple of years, but Central Otago has taken a hold and is now well and truly home. In Alexandra Fiona secured draughting work with both local survey firms and then moved on to work for Bodkins. While working in administration for Bodkins, Fiona completed her Legal Executive Certificate through The Open Polytechnic. It is this legal executive training that has given Fiona great attention to detail and she found she was excellent with computers and figures. After Bodkins, Fiona worked as office manager for a local mortgage broker. This gave Fiona further experience in the accounting/payroll/HR side of administration in business and led her to the work she does today. Fiona has currently completed her MYOB Certified Consultant Exam and passed with flying colours. She is available to help you with any MYOB or Book-Keeping queries.
Fiona enjoys teaching yoga classes a couple of evenings a week and also has an interest in Search and Rescue and is currently secretary for COSAR, as well as being operational for field work.
